It is extremely important that you understand Georgia’s immigration processes and how they may affect you. If you prepare all the necessary documentation in good time, you are less likely to experience problems. Students who are not citizens of Georgia must have a residence permit, for study after they travel to Georgia. Public Service Development Agency is the authority responsible for issuing residence permits. Students from outside Georgia must apply for a residence permit for studies (you can find information here). Applications for residence permits may under no circumstances be submitted after the deadlines.
