Georgian American University (GAU) is opening registrations on fully funded course for the refuges from Ukraine.
"First on the scene - FOTS training" is the official training course of NAEMT.
Main goal of the course is to provide the trainees with fundamental knowledge to help the victim before EMS arrives.
It covers the following:
- Scene assessment, scene safety
- Cardiac arrest - CPR & AED
- Opioid poisoning and first Aid (Naloxone)
- Anaphylaxis recognition and first aid
- Bleeding control
- Chest wound
- Moving patient to safety
- Safety position
- Chocking relieve
Course format is onsite, theoretical part with presentation and practical part - skill stations using simulation patients and manikins.
After successful competition of the course participants will receive Official International Certificate from NAEMT.
