“Managing Diabetes in Clinical Practice: Simulation Challenge”

A simulation-based workshop dedicated to Diabetes Awareness Month is designed to enhance students’ practical skills in diabetes prevention, diagnosis, and management, including glucometer use, insulin injection practice, diabetic foot examination, and hypoglycemia management simulations.

Attendance will be officially recognized, counted toward the clinical stage, and students will be required to create an educational digital poster as part of the activity. Three winning posters will be awarded certificates.

Clinical Skills & Simulation Centre invites students to participate in a hands-on simulation workshop dedicated to Diabetes Awareness Month. Join us on 28 November to practice essential clinical skills. 

Students are invited to design an educational Diabetes Awareness Poster on topics such as prevention, risk factors, early symptoms, complications, glucose monitoring, healthy lifestyle, insulin basics, and myths vs. facts.

Format Requirements for poster is one-page digital poster in PDF, PNG, or JPEG format which you must send via email by 27 November, 18:00, on - mariam.gogadze@gau.edu.ge

Top 3 posters will receive Certificates. Evaluation criteria will be scientific accuracy, creativity, clarity, and relevance to diabetes awareness.

Poster must include awareness message for Diabetes Awareness Month and a conception that highlights the theme.
