Call for applications on exchange program to Karadeniz Technical University, Turkey!

Georgian American University is announcing a competition for the Erasmus+ exchange program funded by the European Commission to the Ankara University, Turkey!
The winner of the competition will be able to visit the above-mentioned university and will receive funding for 1 academic semester (2025-2026 Spring semester).
Terms for participants:
- Undergraduate students of the Diplomacy Program of the Law, Social Sciences & Diplomacy School, who are in II, III, IV, V, VI semesters of their studies and the Graduate students of the Diplomacy Program of the Law, Social Sciences & Diplomacy School, who are in I and II semesters of their studies;
- Candidates must have fluency in English or in Turkish on the level of at least B2;
- According to the education law of Georgia, it is prohibited to stop the academic status of a student during his/her participation in the exchange program. Students being selected for the exchange program will also be registered as active students of Georgian American University. Thus, candidates should register and pay for every semester in GAU.
Funding terms:
- Free tuition;
- 800 EUR monthly for accommodation and other monthly expenses;
- 275 EUR for Transportation costs (flight);
- Selected candidates should cover visa expenses themselves.
Documentation required from students:
- Copy of valid biometric passport;
- European format CV (in English, maximum 2 pages);
- Official academic records (official document in English;
- English or Turkish Language certificate (international certificate, or a certificate confirming knowledge of the subject passed at GAU - at least B2 level of English);
- Certificate of Student Status (official document in English);
- Dean’s recommendation
- Learning Agreement (for instructions check out A Guide for Georgian Students);
Selection Process:
- Review of documents (Georgian American University);
- Interview with the committee (Georgian American University);
- Document review / Scholarship awarding (Georgian American University);
- Georgian American University Selection Criteria for Students.
Mobility period and duration:
- Spring Semester of 2026.
