University at present is at the stage of updating, and revising research activities and worldviews, and modernizing and upgrading institutional organization in order to adapt them to social needs. For this purpose, we will make efforts to support the research and innovative activities by means of mobilizing internal and external resources, and hence, will make a contribution to the support and development of society. We strongly believe that these undertakings create more possibilities for integrating research and teaching. And this latter strategy, in its turn, is a powerful tool both for tackling the challenges of market comparability and strife for technical education. Support of research activities, their results, and generally, popularization of science at GAU, are the priorities of the University and its major research units, and in the first place, of its respective Schools, and of our academic staff, through their public and social accessibility.
The University, as a whole, and its individual Schools set these mentioned goals as their major socio-cultural objectives and functions. The major research trajectory of the University transcends quality development, and against this background, supports research activities under the conditions of maintaining academic freedom and effective management.
